  Hands down one of the worst management companies I've had the pleasure of dealing with (and I've dealt with Global). Terrible communication with landlords/slumlords, terrible service/communication from Akman themselves. I would rather buy a crack den in the West end than deal with this company again. Please, and I cannot stress this enough, please do not deal with these degenerates. I would give them a zero if possible .

  This is the worst rental agency I have ever dealt with. Very unprofessional. There’s a new caretaker every month. The building 372 Assiniboine is horrible. Suites are old with lots of plumbing issues. When I moved in the suite was very dirty. Blinds were broken and dusty. They try and extort money from you anyway they can. Make sure you knw your rights or this agency will walk all over you

  I agree with previous comments - worst property management company I have ever dealt with. One star is generous rating! Slow to return phone calls if at all. Make up 'rules' as they go. I unfortunately own a condo that they are contracted to provide 'management' services for...

  I would love to give zero stars. Worse customer service, as well as management. May as well be slumlords. I own a condo with Akman, worse decision I ever made. 4 years ago they drilled a hole in my balcony to allow window cleaners the ability to attach the stage. It was supposed to be fixed immediately. It still hasn’t. September of 2015, they took down the security camera’s in our underground “secured” parkade, amd did not make us aware, in this time, our vehicle was broken into, $200 worth of tools was stolen for my husbands job. I was told by Akman, there was nothing they could, or would do. Dec 2016, upstairs neighbor floods bathroom, causing a hole needing to be cut in my ceiling and bedroom wall. I accidentally missed a condo payment once in 9 years of living here, I call immediately, it takes them a week to get back to me, they charge me $60 and refuse to waive it, despite all of that, and the fact, that I have never missed a payment. Oh but I was given the advice “Just pay your condo fees” Akman is by far the worse! Buy a house! Or go elsewhere!
