Here is my experience with APM and the experience of others I have spoken to who rented off this management company. When Ian Soucy took over our apartment buildings. Everything slowly started going down hill. The buildings were never properly cleaned, fire hazards in the hallways, missing light bulbs in the hallways. When there was a issue no one would ever pick up the phone at the office. There was more and more issues arising because they didn't do background checks on people and would litterally rent out apartments to ANYONE! The crime rate in our area drastically went up in less than 2 years under this "management company". There was issues with drug dealers, B&E, prostitution, robbery, stabbings... When ever complaints were made nothing was done. There was issues with garbage, bugs, rats... the list goes on! Ian Soucy seemed to get a bad reputation in the neighborhood. He was known for being rude with alot of tenants but also known for being very flirty with some of the women that rented off of him. I have spoken with at least 5 different women now who said Ian implied if they can't pay rent... they can work it out some other way... If you catch my drift... which is beyond unprofessional. Our buildings have now been taken over by another management company... cleaning up the mess Ian left behind will most likely take them over a year. Take what you want from this review. I'm just one voice. But I think this needed to be said. Ian Soucy should not get away with what he did to the families that lived in these buildings. Shame on you.

The reason I gave one star is I cannot give no star. I certainly want to give zero star at all. The team is absolutely no help. The manager does not answer phone call, does not reply email, does not offer a cent help, though trying to dig money from you at every second. Do not go with this sh**t compa$y

Currently never had any problems. I ending a 3 year stay in one of their apartments. Rating pending how that transition goes. I will say, never once was there a problem through those years.

They never answer their phone or reply to email. If you leave a voicemail they do not respond. If you go to their office during listed hours nobody is there. Our water heater broke in the middle of winter and they would not repair it until I got the city involved. We have had leaking plumbing for weeks and they have not gotten in contact with me in regards to repairing it. The building will get water damage, they don't care. Potential tenants: stay away, the only service they will provide is taking your money. Property owners: do not allow APM to manage your property, they will not maintain it.

Would never recommend to any renter. Extremely poor communication. Can never get a hold of them, they don't answer your calls or messages you leave them. They don't tell you when they are doing projects, have been getting up to banging and drilling on my ceiling at 7:30am for 3 days now. When they've done showings at our apartment when we were gone, they dont even give 48 hours notice, and once they didnt even lock our door when they left. Quite rude when you do have complaints. APM took over where I live about a year ago and it has been extremely disappointing, especially when your previous management used to be amazing (which is why we moved here in the first place).
