Only put 1 star because I had to. Horrendous customer service. I called and gave my visa over the phone to pay for a spa package for my girlfriend. At the end of her treatments, not only did they show her the bill, which is a complete lack of discretion, they wouldn't let her leave without paying. I showed up and paid immediately, not realizing they didn't actually put through the payment, even though I received an email confirmation of my order. If they needed payment, they should've called the name and number they had on file. It's embarrassing for my girlfriend, and makes me look bad. Because I needed to be there, we ended up being late to the rest of our evening out, and really putting a spoil to the night for what's suppose to be a special birthday for her. Upon emailing my concerns with the lack of professionalism and customer service, the Manager called me and gave me a VERY half-assed apology, and the entire time trying to justify her receptionist as opposed to accepting responsibility and trying to make it right, in ANY capacity. I wasn't a penny pincher, and didn't need a reimbursement, but some sort of genuine apology to myself and my girlfriend would've gone a very long way. I would never go back, and would never recommend this spa at the fairmont location to ANYONE looking for a stress-free experience. Davinder was the customer service rep, and I THINK Wendy was the Manager, but I could be wrong on that one.

I had a great experience here today! Amanda was so helpful and gave a totally relaxing 60min massage. The spa was super clean and comfy and the banana bread to snack on after was so delicious! I am so thankful to the regional manager Kristen for helping me out so quickly and giving me the chance to have a real absolute experience! I highly recommend the hotel vancouver location. Do the eucalyptus steam as well it is soooo worth the 15mins!

Not a great place to go if you just want to enjoy spa facilities unless you are looking for a pool only. We walked in and walked out 15 mins later and the lady at the front counter asked if we enjoyed our stay. Uhhhh obviously not since we didn’t stay there long!!!

I had a gift certificate so I tried getting an RMT session here in February and I got Aisha, who turned out to be great! I have just booked my third session with her. The spa is clean, a little small, and definitely not cheap. But it is pretty standard when it comes to hotel spa pricing.

I came here for a massage, I'd have a professional massage every few weeks but had never had one in Vancouver before. It was a very disappointing experience. I felt cold: the masseuse had cold hands, the massage oil was not warmed and the room had a draught. She also used a weak pressure, I asked her to increase but she did so only briefly, and her long fingernails scratched me throughout. The massage did not focus on the areas I requested. At times it felt like I was being tickled, it was so weak. I looked forward to a hot shower afterwards, because I was cold and covered in oil, but I couldn't see how to adjust temperature; it was only lukewarm. There was a large pool of cold water on the washroom floor. While the robes provided are very plush, the flip flops were way too small for an average man's feet. Reception staff were ambivalent and didn't seem to value my business, and a massage here costs considerably more than other nearby businesses. The downtown location was the only good part. Do not go here, avoid this place!!!!
